#5 The covenant of blood: Between the Father and Jesus

In this lesson, we will show the power of the blood covenant between the Father and Jesus

This covenant between God and Jesus has no curse why? neither one will break the covenant

Gen:26,1-5

Gen:15,1-9,17-18

Gen:17,1-13,16-16,19....I am the Almighty God

Jesus is the covenant gift from God to all mankind who will receive him,  and the Holy Spirit is the gift from God to the church. The only way to the Father is through Jesus, Jn:14-6

The church was purchased with the blood Jesus took behind the Vail, his own blood, and presented it to the Father for acceptance.

The Father received the blood of Jesus confirming the covenant between the two of them and we that are in Christ became beneficiaries of that covenant.

Rom:8,16-18
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

2Tim:2-12

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

Jn:15,14-16 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you

Jn16,13-15

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Rom:8,16-17 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Acts:20-28

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

1Corth:6,19-20
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

When walking by faith one must be fearless and bold having full assurance and confidence in God's word without doubt, that what he has spoken he is able to bring it to pass.

There are many examples of men and women who have given their lives walking by faith trusting the word of God, here are some I look at, David, Joshua, and Caleb, the Hebrew boys, and Stevens.

Heb:12,1-2
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

When we repented and went down in the water in Jesus' name when we came up, we became beneficiaries of the covenant of blood between the Father and Jesus. Now we are accepted into the family of God the body of Christ his church, anointed and appointed to serve him.

The definition of beneficiary:
1 a person or group that receives benefits, profits, or advantages.
2 a person designated as the recipient of funds or other property under a will, trust, insurance policy, etc.

Jer:7,21-26
21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
26 Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

But God remembered his covenant of blood, He's not willing that any would perish but all would come to repentance. (2Pet:3-8).

Heb:9-22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Jesus had to present his own blood to the Father to be accepted or it would have been no better than animal blood or the blood of man, remember, he walked the earth as the son of man.

At the resurrection, Jesus became our Lord and our God a High Priest forever after the order of Melchisedec, it was the priest that had to offer a sheaf of the first fruits of the harvest to the Lord the day after the Sabbath (Lev:23-11) Jesus said to Mary touch me not for I have not ascended to the Father. (Jn:20-17

After Jesus was resurrected on the sabbath day before sunset, on the he ascended to the third heaven to present his blood to the Father for acceptance.

This acceptance of the blood confirmed the covenant of blood between the Father and Jesus and now when Jesus return, all in Christ living by his word will be in the first resurrection and become God, receiving Eternal Life with the Father, Jesus his Holy Angels and all the saints that made it.

We know his blood provides protection and security.(Ex:12,7-8,12) In regard to the plagues in Egypt, God released his mighty power on the Egyptians to redeem Israel out of slavery and punish them for not paying Israel their rightful wages. By the Power of God, it broke Pharaoh’s strength to retain them, and God’s people were released from bondage.

1 It Grants us forgiveness of sins

Col. 1,12-14.
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

2 It justifies and saves us from the wrath to come

Rom. 5:9).

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

3 Jesus purchased the church with his blood

Acts 20:28.
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

4 Jesus became our sacrifice through faith

Rom:3-25
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

5 The precious blood of Jesus

1Pet:1,18-21
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

The New Covenant is soaked in the Blood of Jesus

6, "The blood of “the new covenant”

Luke:22,18-20
18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

7 The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant

Heb:13,20-21.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

8 The Blood of Jesus will never lose its power

1 Cor:11,23-26
It is the Blood of Jesus that confirmed the everlasting covenant with the House of Israel and the house of Judah and every stranger that will take hold of his covenant and not pollute his sabbath get baptized and come under the blood of Jesus.

Heb:4-16
In this covenant, we can come boldly come to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

When you are trusting in the covenant you put all your confidence in the integrity of God's word, if He said it He is able to perform it. Rom:4-21

Jesus is the surety of the new covenant with heavens resources backing Him. He is the guarantee that every promise of God is made good. Heb:7-22

Acts:4-12 Because of the blood we can receive salvation
1Jn:1-7 The blood cleanses us from all sin
Rev:1-5 washed in his blood
Is:53,4-5 Jesus our healer
Phil:4-19 Our provider
Col:1-13 Our deliverer

Food for thought, stay under the blood of Jesus and walk-in love and righteousness to the end and God will reward you with Eternal Life with Him as God.
